The College of Nursing is recognized by the Kerala Nurses' and Midwives' Council and Indian Nursing Council. It is situated within the Health Sciences Campus in a separate building with excellent facilities. The school was established in 2002.

The annual intake is fifty (50) students. The BSc Nursing Programme is a four-year degree programme with one-year compulsory internship.

AIMS The revised curriculum based on INC (Indian Nursing Council) syllabus was implemented in 2006. Extensive clinical practice is combined with rigorous coursework to offer a thorough understanding of nursing and it's relationship to overall health, as well as it's role in society. Experienced faculty deliver an all rounded training, from classroom teaching, to varied clinical experiences, conferences, health exhibitions, presentations by eminent personalities and on site excursions.

Amrita College of Nursing is the first College of Nursing in the private sector in Kerala to have obtained sanction from the Indian Nursing Council to start the MSc Nursing Programme with an intake of 20 students in four specialities (Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing).
